Bl**dy copy protected CDs. How to copy to MD
HI peeps,
Im really, really pissed off at this one. The Mrs bought the "Kelis" album yesterday and transfered it to MD. However when she plays on the minidisc she gets the first 2 seconds and thats it. I told her to take it back to the shop as broken and demand a "proper" copy but she foo fooed the idea.
Any ideas on how to get this album (although it is naff ) onto the minidisk ?
Record companies suck ***. When was the last time you saw a poor executive or signed band

If you really, really want to do it ......
If you hold the disc up to the light you can see the copy protection. About 5mm width.
Get some Tipex (I'm not kidding!) and paint all around the disc, over the copy protection. Copy Disc. Remove and clean off gently with a very light solvent.
Worked for me....

I've used EasyCD-DA (http://www.poikosoft.com/) to rip my copy of the new Faithless album. Older versions would rip all bar the last track. The new v7 went straight through the lot.
