I saved my old OE address books as .pst files as I was intending to run Microsoft Outlook on my new pc rather than OE, anyway Outlook was a nightmare and BTInternet didn't support it and it wouldnt set up properly so I reverted to OE which works fine but I can't see how to Import a .pst file.

Any Guru's out there with any ideas ??

you can always export from Outlook as comma separated values - and then import in OE.

I dont think the pst file includes your address book though - Im sure its just all the personal folder of mail.

think soulgirls right, export from OE as comma separated (DOS) files, then import from outlook

It is quite unbelievable that two closely linked products do not interact with eachother isnt it!

Thanks for the ideas guys, the problem is, this is saved on a CD and the old computer is now down the local tip, am I screwed??

I don't think OE can open a PST.

You need to find a PC with Outlook on to re-export the PST as a CSV - or even better OE can "import mail from outlook" as one of the wizzards if you can do it on the same box.
