Hi I am running XP Pro on my new pc as well as McAfee Internet suite and some of the e-mail attachments are shown some aren't and have the following message "OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments"

I've been through McAfee and all the options on OE, and still cant sort itcan anyone tell me what I need to "adjust" I know the attachments are safe as they all came from work and if they can get past all the blocks on our work system it shouldnt be a problem for my humble home pc.

I'm sure this is a no brainer as they say.

Any help appreciated

In Outlook Express.

Tools > Options. Select Security tab. Clear the tick against "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" OK/Apply. Then close/reopen OE and you should be able to open attachments
