dont know what ive done to get it but i keep getting a pop up appear on my pc for all sorts of advertising, tried everything to get rid of it short of formatting my pc, but if i cant get rid of it withing the next week the pc gets formatted. i think its from a free anti virus software that i seen on this forum but ive deleted it and i still keep getting the popups

 

1. disable windows messenger service.
2. download and run adaware..
3. download and install spyware blaster

 

1) Ad-Aware

2) Spybot - Search and Destroy

3) Zone Alarm.


All free, so no excuses. You might want to try Mozilla Firefox as a browser as pop-up killing is enabled by default IIRC.

tried all those ive found out what it was after blocking nearly everything on my pc it was download accelerator plus was filling my pc with ads 1st time its done this, it even let a worm onto my pc, managed to sort it all out though
