Help regarding Mobile phone Reception!!
I am contracted through Vodaphone with my P900. In the last couple of days, especially at my house, the signal drops into "Emergency Calls Only" mode more than before (although my house has never given great reception).
Despite a call to Vodaphone, they say they have no reported problems in my area of the country.
Any suggestions how I can amplify the signal while I am in the house. I did try one of these "stick om" enhancers on a previous phone but did not find that it helped. Is there a mains amplifier I can buy?? Help!!!

My Dads house can only pick up a signal on Vodaphone. And then only a dodgy one. He is in deepest darkest Cornwall though. We've noticed that different 'phones will hang onto the signal better - and not necessarily the latest and greatest either. It is always better if you plug the charger in though. You could try that if making a call ....
I'm near Wokingham, not exactly a technological backwater. BUT Vodaphone is the only signal I can get - luckily it's very good. With the others you have to hang out of upstairs windows with your finger in your ear and stuff to get a signal ...
There is also dodgy FM reception here - so bad I had a special FM aerial fitted.
I guess that doesn't help much aprt from the chanrger thing. But at least you're not alone .....
