Default Battlefield 1942

Hi guys,

Into this game big time and am trying to get a clan formed with a few m8's and was wondering if anybody here would be interested ?
All you need is the game itself and a faster than 56k connection would be an advantage. Skill is not important, its all about having fun

If you are interested could you post below. Thanks.

Battlefield vietnam is a very good game but for me it doesnt have the same online thrill as 1942.
Still thanks for the feedback even if it was not what I wanted to hear

there are still many more players and servers for 42 versus vietname
think its roughly 60% 1942 and 40% vietnam

found vietname quite disappointing personally

Cool

I think the Road to Rome maps are the best, but this looks highly promising....

Have you installed the Desert Combact add-in? Modern day wepons, planes, copters the whole lot

I've been playing battlefield Vietnam mostly. I love flying the helecopters. I've perfected landing, taking off, troop drop off's, combat - attacking planes, other copters, troops and tanks, hover attacks, low flying. I love the helecopters the best, more than anyhting else.

I have not played BF1942 in ages as CD1 cracked I've still got CD 2 but CD1 is fooked

Cool

Once you've upgraded to 1.6, you can use any of the BF1942 series CDs to play the game, not just CD1 from the original

Still play DC online now and again, seriously thinking of giving WWII Online a shot though as I fancy upping the scale and getting away from the kiddies and lamers that seem to frequent the BF servers these days. If paying a monthly sub does this I'll be happy. If you havent tried WWII I'd give the free 30 trial a shot first, it's come a long way since the last time I tried it and I was seriously impressed.

GL with your clan anyhow m8
