Pocket PC 2002 experts help please
How do I get my pda to connect to my mobile phone via infra red so that I can use internet explorer to use the gprs connection on my mobile?
Is this actually possible? If so how do I go about it as I can't work it out
Is there any software about that you can use on the pda to do this?

Do you have GPRS enabled on your phone with the network provider and if the answer is yes let me know the operator and I'll give you the instructions.

Your phone is with Orange?
They should have something that you install on your PDA to handle it for you.
With Voda - ConnectMe
With O2 - O2MobileWeb
Otherwise its a bit of a pita but doable. You need to tell the PDA to connect via IR to a modem - which happens to be your phone - then you need to get your phone to have a GPRS profile set up to receive and action on an IR start.
In terms of what we understand, IE is making a dial-up connection via your phone settings (ISP) with IR being the intermediary.
All standard stuff but looks scary with a PDA...
Find the software on your phone company's site

Scooby-Doo yes I have gprs and i'm with Orange.
Puff I don't think Orange have anything on their site. I tried to do it manually but couldn't get the phone to pick up the pda's ir, the pda found the phone though.
Any help would be much appreciated
