Arrow 11 x 9.1 Gb Ultra Wide LVD SCSI Disks Price question.

I have 11, 9.1 Gb Ultra Wide LVD SCSI Disks for sale all of them are IBM DDRS - 39130.

Thats 100 Gb of disk space looking for offers over £50 do you think this is the right kinda price i should be looking for?

All are working and can be seen working if required. Currently working as a temp file space in a RAID 0 Config. Lovely and fast.

This needs to be pitched at someone who wants to expand or add to an existing SCSI setup..

take into account a 120GB IDE single drive costs £43 now

I sold 3 on ebay not so long ago for £30. They were SCA disks. Ebay is your best bet

Thanks for the responses.

Do you think its best to sell them separately or all in one go. e.g. 11 separate eBay auctions or 1 with 11 disks in it.. or may be a 5 and 6 disk auction?

I know they are worth a lot more than i will ever get for them, but I do not need the space and the misses is starting to nag about the noise of all the disks spinning.

Rob..

PS anyone know of some one looking for 11 SCSI Disks.???

Id ebay them and highlight the fact that they would be idea for a nice raid config. A lot of companies on ebay now buy and quite a few dont need terabytes of space. Id put them on all in one auction of do a 5/6 split in 2 auctions. Start at £50 for the lot and £30 if 2 auctions imo

They are all 68Pin ones not SCA but work non the less. No bad sectors..

Would you put a reserve on it or start the bids at £50

68 pin are not as desirable as SCA from a company perspective but it depends how much you want for them. I would just start at £50 and no reserve
