Default How can I test loading speed of a web page?

I'm trying to work out what will be consistently faster for my users.

Is there a way to test a web page for load time that does away with affects of cache etc?

The 2 pages in question are:

http://www.pocketpcsoft.net/php/disp...?type=freeware

vs

http://www.pocketpcsoft.net/php/oldfreeware.php

cheers,

Greg

Hmm just for your info, they both seem very slow. I nearly gave up on the first one!

http://www.pocketpcsoft.net/php/dis...p?type=freeware
42secs
58secs

http://www.pocketpcsoft.net/php/oldfreeware.php
30secs
40secs

System: PIV 3.2HT, 1gb dual ch RAM. XP Pro & IE6 fully patched, McAfee Enterprise AV v7.0.

First pass Demon 2mb ADSL
Second pass used Demon 2mb ADSL & US Proxy

Both pages loaded with errors.
