Quick Dreamweaver query...
All,
Does anybody know how I can make a link in Dreamweaver to a folder....
It is easy enough to link to a file, however I have a windows folder that contains lots of docs. I just want a link that opens the folder containing the docs...
This is a LAN intranet and all files are on the same server...
Thanks in advance..
Si

Thanks Scoty..
Is there a way to control how the folder contents are displayed on the client machine.. It now opens the folder fine but the contents are listed similar to an FTP listing... I would just like the folder to open in a standard window format..
Cheers

Si,
Have you got it sorted?
What OS are you using, you can change the folder view settings in explorer.
Right click start, explorer, find the folder on the client machine, on the taskbar click the views tab, choose the view.

Mogsy,
The folder view is controlled by the either the client or browser, popular views either windows or Unix style listing.
Why not use web folders instead, will give you identical functionality/view to windows explorer..
