Bum, I rushed over here full of excitement expecting a thread about VT100s and serial cables and unix and even teletypes. All I get is this modern stuff.

yep I remember the good old 5 1/4" and 8" floppies! I was a mere lad then and thought 8" was big

Ahah - now that takes me back - the first computer I sold filled an air conditioned room 10ft x 20ft, had 32k RAM, two whizzers (tape spools) no screen and one keyboard - total £487,000 - real bargain for the day !!!

These youngsters - no idea - pah !
