Question two quick questions (AIM related)

hello.

can anyone explain to a numb nut like me how to stop AIM starting automatically? it delays boot up by ages. The OS is W2K.

Also, is theer another bit of software that will work with AIM and MSN, and allow me not to have to use the AOL AIM software at all?

thanks.
