MS Access 2000 ; 3x Questions Please
Help. I'm not too good with Access, and developing some 'queries' is like walking on egg-shells.
Easy First, then the harder ones.
Q1 - I open my database, but the first box is always *** sized. I alway maximise the window, ie use the 'small square' icon top right.
How can I automate this please.
Q2 - In a query, in design view, the column width is small, and I can only see half of the criteria line. Everytime I increase the width and save, close and re-open, the width is back again. How can I increase this please.
Q3 - The killer.
I have an existing query that makes a table, ie a make table query.
I wish to change the name of the table it makes to an identical table, with a different name, but I can't find any reference or link between them.

1) Are you opening a form or just the DB window?
2) Don't think you can - Access doesn't save the column sizing on queries
3) If you click the Query menu, select Make Table... a dialogue box should open allowing you to change the destination table name.

velo,
1. Instead of maximising the db window, enlarge it by dragging the bottom right hand corner as far as it will go. Access usually remembers the size of the db window after closing.
2+3 What Chris said.
