Athlon XP CPUs

Does anyone know if they come with the multiplier locked these days?

Yes, well AFAIK... although the Athlon XP Mobile core's are unlocked.

I brought a XP 2500+ 6 months ago, running it equivilent to a 3200+ on my Nforce 2 board (Abit NF7S).

if your lucky you can get some 2500 unlocked but just up the fsb
