Backing up!

Am about to start writing a thesis, PC's been very temperamental lately, just wondering if anyone knows a good, cheap external HD I can get to back up on?

If you've got a version of Windows with decent USB support, then how about a USB Thumb drive. Crucial will do a 256MB for under £40.

For just over £60, you could buy a 60gb HDD and an external usb/firewire caddy.
