Might be worth having a look at StarOffice from Sun. I think it's a free download or a £30 CD.
I know that it has a word processor and a spreadsheet which produce MS Office compatible files. I think it also has a business graphics/presentation application.

well you could look at something like star office or its open source relative openoffice which both have a presentation app in them.

Macromedia Director is the best presentation package IMHO, but learning it properly including the Lingo Scripting language takes a while.
