When I open a file from my saved pictures it is really dull.

Is there a way to reset my default settings with this app.?

Best thing is to print off something - ideally a test card - with the printer you intend to use. Then go into Edit - Colour Settings & select Custom. Play around with a few settings until you get the one that looks closest to your printed output.

I don't use a printer.

Mainly use photoshop for editing digital images.

Edit | Color Settings and then set the Settings drop down list = "Color Management Off".

Try that for starters.
