I blame it on 'Metal Arms Glitch in the System'.
You see I'd just finished playing this little known title and what a magnificent experience it was. Brilliant graphics fantastic, original touches that actually made me laugh out loud and play the level again just for the hell of it.
I enjoyed it even more than Halo.
So, in a very vulnerable state of 'all things X-Box are wonderful' I walked into PC world (I know I know) and paid full wack for Deus Ex: Invisible War. (Isn't the cover soooo tempting?)
Started with great promise. The opening scence is quite splendid and makes you think you're onto another winner.
Wrong.
The frame rate. awful. The graphics? I've not seen worse on the X-Box. Level design? You're having a laugh.It makes a set of escalators look complicated.
Oh and it's short.
Am I bitter? Well yeah the games aren't cheap and well I feel mugged.
avoid.
But do buy 'Metal Arms Glitch in the System'
Nice weekend treat. I think I may play it again....
