Question IPAQ Advice

Hi,

I'm after a PDA, looking on the expansys site at the HP Ipaq 2210 and there is an American and an English version, does anyone know what the difference would be as the American on is nearly £50 cheaper!!!

Also does anyone know what cable I'd need to plug it into my Road Angel

Cheers

american will have US plug, UK one won't!! Maybe some differences with the bundled software as well. Finally I'd double check that you get a warranty you can use in the UK with the US one!

cheers,

greg

HP warranties are global not like other products where you need to go back to the retailer, so yes there should be no issues with warranty.

Dunno about the Road Angel connectivity. Is there software which supports the interface into the road angel?

Go to the Holux UK website for the Road Angel connectors. Tomtom GPS software allows the Ipaq to communicate with the RA.

If you have the TomTom GPS software, then you don't really need a ~£400 Road Angel, just a ~£75 GPS receiver.

Thumbs up

Hi,

Cheers for all of the replies, I already have a RA so I thought if I connected that it would save me shelling out for a GPS receiver, and I've got the laser alert for it which you can't fit to the Tom TOm software

Cheers
