Which scart lead for Xbox?
I still run the std cable at the moment, but am now in the market for a scart cable for the Xbox.
I have seen the MS official advanced cable at £20 and it looks good.
Anyone got any advice?

I've also go the one from game, as the MS one is a 21 pin scart end and i needed composite video output for amp, just a minor note if you find a game doesn't play swap back to original cable, i had this once with game cable very strange

I've got the official MS advanced scart lead with optical out (so I can get dolby 5.1 though my surround amp). Picture and sound quality are in a different league to the original cable supplied with the xbox.

Anyone know if this will be as good as the OEM one?

Question. The OE one I use has the Audio L/R and comp video outputs. Together with a SCART adaptor it connects to the TV via SCART input. I assume that this will NOT provide a RGB SCART output for the X-Box?
Is that one reason for upgrading? as well as for getting the 5.1 connectors for an amp?

Correct Stefan, it just provides a std image - when I upgraded my PS2 scart cable to a Blaze item, the difference was amazing. It went from a normal TV quality imageto an almost PC quality image.
