Default X-box shopping today...

ok I'm impatient, I could order one over the internet but for the sake of a tenner here or there let's not bother.

Can anyone tell me... are all the x-box's in the shops now the same, I seem to remember the early ones had a different HD or soemthing no?? Anyway, I was after a crystal jobbie with the two controllers, are these in stock yet, anybody know anywhere in central London I can get one?

Also... what games should I buy today,.. is it worth gettting a bundle with the classics in like Halo and project Gotham?

Can you adivse me on the best Halo type game at the mo, splinter Cell II I assume? The best driving game? And is there a good golf game?

And yes I do want to get on xbox live soon....

Thanks all... Houlbt

can't tell you about internal spec but I'm still running my first generation in the UK machine with no problems.

You can get the crystal ones from game and other stores like that... well in Scotland you can anyway.

as for games

Project Gotham 2 for Driving
Halo for out and out FPS
Rainbow six 3 for some tactics
Splinter cell II looks good but I've not played it

for Live oyu will need Gotham 2 as it's the best live game out

Not sure how the latest gen looks, they all have the smaller pad now - I prefer the larger ones on my xbox1, but nice to have a choice I guess....

As for 'the best Halo type game at the mo' - Its HALO

Do not buy an Xbox without it !

They've just reduced the price in the States to $149. Don't know if there's going to be a similar drop here or not yet...
