Question Network/IE problems

Just developed an odd problem on my home network. I have a wireless network and connect my laptop using a Belkin wireless PCMCIA card. Setup has been fine for a good few months.

Today my wife noticed a problem. If an address is typed into IE (XP) the system will pop up a Dial up networking connection window and then go no further.
If however I click on a Favourite Link, the system surfs to the page no problem.

The systray shows an active Internet Gateway icon etc.

Any ideas?

Default

Seen something like this when i log in to the same pc as a different user. Check control panel - internet connections - connection tab and verify that a dialup connection is NOT the default connection. Should be set to never dial a connection.

Hope it helps

Pete
