How to connect 2 writers

How to connect 2 writers
Is it possible to connecter two or three cd/dvd writers to burn at the same time. Is it as easy to wire them up in series? or is ther changes in software to do this

As long as they are all the same make and model and are on separate channels this will work fine. A good piece of software for this is Discjuggler.

Just set up a customers PC with 2 burners on the same IDE channel
One was a Pioneer 105, the second a Pioneer 107
Both totally different burners with different firmwares.
Set himup to use 'Stomp Record Now MAX v4.5'
There was an initial warning that the writers were not identical, acknowledged the warning and proceeded to burn off cds and dvds without fault.
The best test was to burn a full 4.55gb movie image and they both finalised no probs so yes, it's possible.
