Messenger Pop Up, how do u get rid o em?

1) Disable messenger service. (Right click My Computer, then choose Manage > Services and Applications > Services > Messenger. Change the startup type to be Manual or Disabled, click Stop to stop the service now, then OK.
2) Get a firewall - which you should already have - and configure it to block messages from outside your own network.

Ok, head relief coming up...
These are due to the messenger service running on your machine (this is part of Windows, not related to MSN Messenger).
To get rid of them you can go into 'Control Panel', 'Administrative Tools', and then 'Services'. Find the one in the list called 'Messenger' and change it so it is stopped and only started manually.
Alternatively, a firewall program such as Zone Alarm (free) is a good idea, and that will allow you to block such stuff.
