Domain names
If the .com name was already taken would you still register the .co.uk / .org / .net etc etc
Also looking for some advice on registering a domain very close to a competitors - ie register ourmove.co.uk / .com as a removal firm - would this be picked up by people doing a search for yourmove.co.uk / .com (estate agents) ???

I often buy a non-.com domain if I know its only going to be used in the UK.
I would also think twice about that like as people might this yourmove is renaming to ourmove, and I'm sure yourmove wouldnt like that. Might need to speak to some legal eagle though as you're technically in different lines of business (removal rather than estate agents) etc. Big /shrug there I guess
An no I doubt it would get preferencial search engine placement as the domain name rarely helps with the rankings these days.
