Strange output from command window in XP ...

Question Strange output from command window in XP ...

Does any know why this might happen?

What have you got at 192.168.0.219 ?

Maybe take a look at the name entry for it in c:\windows\systems32\drivers\etc\hosts (open in wordpad)

try pinging another address...

then restart, see if it go's away, could be graphics card/driver issue whilst at cmd prompt

weird though

it's not a (name) resolution issue, and believe me I have done more than reboot (re-installed TCP/IP etc).

I take it no-one has come across this before?

Have you tried flushing your dns cache.. both local & on the network dns server, try updating the server data files too..

What happens if you ping/resolve another ip??
