Best 17" TFT flat screen for PC ?
Hi all,
I'm looking for a decent quality flat screen TFT display for my PC, preferably 17".
I've seen one manufactured by a company called Videoseven which seems good value but I've never heard of them and can't find a review of it anywhere.
http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Product...08&GroupID=448
Can anyone advise
Cheers

Hi Everybody!
I have an LG1710B
I got it here:
http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...subcat_uid=353
Sorry I'm too stupid to insert URLs.
This monitor is 17 inch, nice and bright, it has built in USB sockets and so on.
Its good for games - no blurring that I can see in UT2004 Demo.
Absolutely fantastic quality image (using digital input) and no dead pixels.
Oh and one thing not in any reviews, if you have two PCs you can have them plugged in both at the same time to this monitor (provided one uses the digital and one tha analogue ports). Switch over at the press of a button. BONUS! It may even be possible to do three because I think you can link a monitor in by USB too?
Its not the cheapest one around but I am very happy with my purchase.
Cheers!
Edited to say that whilst I may be too stupid to insert URLs the new forum software does it for you!

The Iiiyama range of monitors seem to get good reviews especially the E431S.
Trouble is there is a shortage of them at the moment because of demand.

Just got the Iiyama E431S - saw it was out of stock over most internet sites but went up Tottemham Court Road before I ordered anything - just to check prices. Followed the arrows on a guy with sandwich boards to a computer store - and they had several in stock. Icluding the black one that I bought .... :-) £330 to take away. Pretty good price considering that only a few web sites had it less than this - and that was before delivery (it was normally £349.99 there - until I pointed him at the web site),
Go look at: http://www.antechdirect.co.uk/
Couldn't match web sites for mobos though. When I pointed out that the ASUS board I wanted was £75 (ish) and he had it for £99 he said that£75 was below cost .... I got it from Ocs for £76 with WIFI card ...
You gotta shop around ...
Cheers
Dave
