XP Pro and changing PC config?
Hi,
Finally done the deed and ordered the bits for the new pooter. Going to have XP Pro on it. Now I've been reading up a bit on this and if you change the hardware config. too much is it correct that XP reckons you've pirated the copy? I particularly want to be able to load up most hardware before I load XP but I want to leave the ISDN card I have until all else is working. Don't want to be left without access to SN ....
Also, how about adding hard drives and DVD Writers? Will that have any effect on XP thinking it's been copied?
Thanks for any advice .... oh, and it'll be a kosher copy ......

You get about 3 chances to "activate" it again, before you have to phone MS on a freephone number.
I've changed loads of hardware in mine, and not had to do anything, then added some memory to another PC and had to phone!
Weird.
