My crappy motherboard only has two RAM slots which are currently occupied by 2 x 256Mb sticks of PC2700 (333Mhz) RAM. I want to able to get 1Gb of RAM in a single stick, so I can have a spare slot (maybe put in one of the 256's as well) but I've had hell on trying to source one. Tried all the usual places like dabs and CCL and some of the OC'ing stores.
Anyone know of anywhere where I can get one reasonably cheaply (ie. less than £150) without having to resort to 2 x 512mb ?

first of all can your motherboard take a 1gig ram
