Sharing & security settings
Hi,
I'm running a small home LAN with 2 PCs and a Netgear RP114 router. Both PCs run Win XP Pro. Both connect successfully to a broadband connection. In one direction I can open Shared folders and perform usual copy, paste etc.
However in the other direction, there is no Shared Folder shown from the remote PC & when I double click the remote PC icon I am asked to provide name & password.
I feel that the security / sharing settings must be doing this as normally the Shared Folder access is totally open, is it not.
If anyone can give me some "normal" settings for this folder in simple and advanced mode, that I can check against the existing, that would be great.
