2x Raptor striped for OS - quick or ...?

Hi,

OK. Getting nearer spec. fpr PC. Got most of it. Going to get a WD Raptor for the OS (the 40GB one). Would it be noticeably faster to have 2xRaptors striped for the OS?

That is, 2 Raptors using the SATA RAID on an ASUS A7N8X rather than just one on one SATA channel.

I have 2 identical SATA drives setup as Raid 0 - stunningly quick but if one drive fails, you lose everything. As long as you keep backups of everything, it's worth the risk.
