Just got Pipex Xtreme Solo2Go. So far so good.
But I can say that the whole thing went off without a hitch and Pipex have a really nice system to help you setup email accounts, webspace etc. etc.
Cheers

Pipex and the migration from BT across was seemless, as I didnt lose my connection for more than a few hours on the day they changed over.

always consider the activation fees some ISP charges. pipex doesn't if you stay with them for 1 year. check out www.bulldogdsl.com and www.cpbb.co.uk also.

Another vote for Nildram, had Pipex before and they were useless at the time as they had taken on too much business, got a refund and went for Nildram who come consistently near the top for speed on adslguide.org (good site for Broadband info btw) and the customer service is good, never had to wait for hours on the phone like Pipex whos support was meant to be open til 8pm and was closed when I rang at 7.30pm, grrr.

Just another thing on Nildram service....
I've always talked to a person almost immediately for any query (sales/technical/billing) and even had someone answer the phone on 1st Jan when I had password issues.
In this age of "you're in a queue, press any key to wait for another 20 minutes at 10p a minute", that was enough to keep to my custom.

Going with all these others why??????
You are still on the BT ADSL line from your local exchange. You have basically only changed your Server which comes off of BT's network where???? ...... The only time you truly come off BT is if you go with a cable company.
I have both NTL and BT and I have got to say BT is much faster and more reliable.
This is in my opinion.
All the best
Pete

I use Virgin, and so far all has been well, only had it a couple of weeks though. The only reason I use Virgin rather than BT, is Virgin dont do the minimum 12 month period thing.
