Over the past 3 days I have started receiving emails with no subject from email accounts that I have never heard of.....

I received one from an account showing as Scoobyworld_UK@Hotmail.com..

So I opened it.......... one attachment.... which I did not open...

I quickly switched on the option in OE to strip any potential viruses......

...... within a minute, I had another from some Broxstowe.gov.uk or something like that.... and then another last night....

I now right click and look throught the properties of these unknown emails and each one is saying that mcafee has dealt with it.....

It also seems that in each there is some sort of Zip file which no is the virus???

How the hell have these peeps got my email account.......

I did reply to the 1st 2 emails as Mcafee advised.. to let then know what was going on........

I've never had this before........... is anyone else experiencing this??

... or have i just been lucky in the past......??

what would scooby do

Lots of posts on here about this virus, basically when someone has this virus, it sends to everyone in their address book using random addresses from same address book as the sender..

I get about 20 a day

Antivirus deals with it though

The only thing is I don't know any of the people that I have received emails from...?!?!?!?!
