ermmm last XP update stops my xbox live :(
just installed the latest XP update and my Xbox live connection has gone legs in the air 
any Idea how I can remove the fix or fix my connection ?

Try using the System Restore option to roll it back to before you applied the update - might help?
Had to do this yesterday as it seemed an XP update was causing problems with my connection
