2 PC's running XP, networked with ethernet via an 8 port hub. The main machine is set up with an internet connection via ISDN. Main machine has Zonealarm installed. Both machine are working fine on the network, can copy files back and fore ok. Kicking off IE6 on the 2nd machine opens the connection to the internet on the main machine but if Zonealarm is running on the main machine 2nd machine can't access any internet pages. Switch off Zonealarm and it's okay. 2nd machine has had it's XP firewall switched off till I sort this.

Anyone shed any light on this?

What settings are your internal/external security levels on the second machine? (a couple of slide-bar controls, IIRC)

I'll check this but the fact that everything works if Zonealarm is turned off on the main machine surely means these are alright...

Sorry... I meant to ask about the settings within Zonealarm. I didn't mean the Windows security settings.
