What sort of thing are you planning to do with the box?

One of the guys I work with (works for Fujitsu Services) is an experienced Sun/Solaris admin and stays in Shoreham in the week. I can pass your mail address to him.

Is it just the keyboard and mouse not working?
Or the screen as well?
If it's just the keyboard & mouse, you don't need to plug the screen through the adapter.
If it's both, then plug 'em both in as shown.
I can email you a diagram if you like?

Have you tried plugging a video cable from the u10 straight into the screen switch (Just the video cable as the mouse & keyboard still need to go via the other belkin box) ?
That should solve all your problems
( I get this problem a lot, as I run some labs for Sun )

Yep, I'm using one to view this!
What graphics card is in the ultra 10?
The standard on-board one?

Does it work before X fires up. i.e do you get the black text on white screen to start off with?
I notice from the pic that the keyboard isn't connected.
You have to have this connected(before you power on), otherwise it will asume the use of a serial console and the screen won't work.
