Smile I have used ebuyer for loads of orders without problems!

I just got a replacement brand new videocard from ebuyer. 6 months after I bought it(!) It would not load up Catalyst drivers any more, with no combination of rebuilds and hardware changes fixing the issue. Obviously I thought it was duff, and wrote up a basic report telling them why I thought it was duff and what I had tried.

I then requested an RMA via their web site, and told them which item it was for (selecting item from all my previous web orders very easily).

I sent the card off recorded delievery, got an email confirming confirmation a couple of days later, and received about 6 emails confirming progress until I received a nice shiny new card which must have taken, oooh, 7-9 days total from the old card to new card in my hands...

Now if that is bad, customer service, I hate to think what you need to do to get a good review from you guys!

I'm as fickle as the next guy when it comes to choosing suppliers, but any of these online stores are only as good as the last bad experience you may have had/heard of. I will likely use ebuyer again as they are dirt cheap and if they can fix my issue with this level of service I will be happy.

There's absolutely **** all margin in PC components. I used to and my Brother still does work for a large reseller in Scotland.

I could buy parts from the likes of Aria, Scan, eBuyer for around a few pounds more than he could get them at trade prices.

You obviously get discounts for large volumes, but the reduction can be pennies or a few pounds on even CPU's.

Just to add eBuyer's service was absolutely shocking. Took them 4 attempts to send me the correct motherboard. They must use monkeys to pick stuff off their warehouse shelves
