Play PS2 Backups Without Losing Warrenty?
Hi All,
A friend of mine wants to be able to play 'backup' disks on his PS2, but he doesn't want to lose the warrenty. Is there any way of doing this? Is there a boot disk (along the lines of Action Replay) that doesn't require a mod chip to be able to work?
Thanks in advance
Daniel

The Action Replay disc only enables you to play region 1 DVDs...
In order to play backup games he is gonna have to open the case and get a chip fitted.... Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Most "Chippers" will fit a chip and youll still have a warrenty, you just have to make sure they remove the warrenty sticker with a hot air gun, hairdryer and felt tip the area behind it black. Then glue it back on after the chip is fitted and working.
Thats what they used to do on the older versions V3,V4 etc
