hi i am having trouble with my pc at the moment,it keeps disconnecting from the internet and a redial count down clock comes up.
when i try to redial it doesnt connect me and it takes quite a few trys for me to get back on the net.
I have checked pc for a virus and cant find any.

Does anyone know what is up and how do i fix it.
Please explain in easy terms as im not too well up on the pc as yet.

do you get a 60 sec counter to shut pc down

Hi The count down timer has redial 60 seconds on it there is also a cancel and help button,when i press the help button it says there is no help for this.

Have you got call waiting on your telephone line? If so, disabling it will probably help

to syop it shutting down press.

START>
RUN>
then type> shutdown -a

should stop it closing on you.
