Advice please guys
Just installed wireless Broadband and have therefore given the kids access to the interent.
My daughter wanted a few tips on looking for sites so I sat with her
She said lets look up Liberty X's website how do I do that
I said firstly try just typing that with either .com or .co.uk after their
Well you know what happen next don't you .com is a hardcore **** site
So the wireless broad band is now locked away while I locate a "Net Nanny"
ANY RECOMENDATIONS

Start by not typing address' directly into the address bar. Use a search engine to find your sites. Large hitting sites like the one you mentioned will appear at the top of the search, with info about the site before you enter it.
I would recomend Google in all cases. It is by far the most advanced search engine on the net.
Second, install some form of perental control. I have never used any before, so can't recommend any, but you could look into Netnanny, Cybersitter, McAfee Parental Controls or the software that comes built into Norton Internet Security.

Use Netvizor or Spyagent (both by Spytech)
You can both look after their interests online (as any caring parent should) as well as actually restrict applications AND lock the computer down totally at certain times.
