I need a new PC, these are the two options i have thought off -

isn't there a problem with cooling fast cpu's in those shuttle cases?

Depends on what you're using it for! I plan to build 2 maybe 3 Shuttle PC's for some audio apps I want to run, and I will only go with Intel cpus. AMD used to have problems with their motherboards and drivers conflicting with high end sound cards. All resolved now, but I like to play safe.

Lo Dave, if price isn't an issue I'd got for the Intel based one. I've always been an Intel man since experimenting with a Cyrix chip. Anyhow, I'm now running a AMD and I initially had LOTS of compatablity problems with it and the money I spent sorting it out I could have brought an Intel based system for the same amount!

If you into alot of gaming drop the twinmoss ram and instead go for the Kingston HyperX 1gb (2x512) PC3200 dual channel ram! it's more expensive (£185 inc vat on dabs.com) but it's superior quality!
