I heard a rumour yesterday Apple are going to bring out a small (4 - 6gig) ipod, just a take around every day / go jogging with type thing, not every album you've ever owned, plus all your personal files, and a few **** movies with space to spare ipod as is at the moment! Also at a price point which would make it more accessible.
Anyone else heard about this?

Where on earth did you hear that. They'll be 4Gb and around £200 and they'll sell like hot cakes and there will be no deals on them. Apple dealers make sweet FA as it is. A 40Gb ipod makes us £3.40 profit !! Wow !

200 big ones, I do love Apple, and normally happy to pay a price premium, but even I thik that is well steep for a 4gig MP3 player, given there is some other competition churing out good machines for much, much less than that.

Talk of Apple Europe reducing the price to £169 in face of the weak dollar.
