Pace Sky box - 3 years old maybe

Most channels just show "No satellite signal is being received". Seems to be happening to all premium channels, with most of the FTA ones OK - but last night Ch4 and Ch5 had the problem (not a great loss, actually)

Also, all the +1 hour channels (DHL + 1 etc) don't work but the originals (eg DHL) are OK

Any ideas? LNB, tuner in box, viewing card?

Haven't investigated getting the Sky man around yet, but natural instincts says that will be expensive, they'll probably not come when they should etc etc

Also has some weird problem that I can see my account on-line ie it dials up OK, but I can't order movies on-line as it says it can't dial-up

 

Had a similar problem, turned out to be water within the cable affecting the signal.

Changed the cable from LNB to digibox and all is ok now.

Maybe worth changing the cable for the sake of a few quid, before you have to pay for an engineer.

Hope its nothing to expensive...
