Which sound card for music?

Mate is looking for a sound card for music up to £100 but cheaper if possible. He's got a demo of pro-tools, but it won't run on the crappy on-board sound he has. Any thoughts of a card for pro-tools use?

m audio audiophile 24/96 or terratec dmx 6 fire, not sure within budget though, terratec do an older card a 24/96 which might be under £100.
