outlook express prob

My mother is having probs getting on to her outlook express and I have been tasked with trying to sort it If only she knew !!
She was using it the other night when the power went off and since then it is showing up with a "illegal act" error. Details as follows:
MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in
module DIRECTDB.DLL at 017f:7dbf3070.

if your using xp try rolling back the system state..
if not may be worth running scandisk/chkdsk
if not re-install only take a few mins, you can get it free from
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/oe/
