NERO Version 5
Pioneer 106
and some packard bell DVD -RW dics

Using the wizard I can copy dvd and save it as an "Image" (*.nrg)

but I cant work out what to do with it then.

all it wants to do when I ask the wizard to make a "new compilation" > "other formats" > "Create cd from Image file"

is fooking save it BACK as an image file ????????? [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

Is Nero set to use the Image Recorder?

What is the exact version of Nero? As IIRC DVD Burning wasn't supported until v5.5?

Looks like your Version of Nero doesn't support the Pioneer 106 then.

I use Nero 6.0.0.23 although Nero 6.3.0.2 is now out.

 

Nero hasn't recognized your DVD, get your version of Nero updated here -> http://www.nero.com/en/updates.html

if you are running XP check if the OS reconises it as a dvd writer

sti555 i wudnt mind that "quick"dvd burning prog u got,i have the pioneer 106 aswell,using the latest version of nero and it doesnt want to play.i have tried that ulead dvd movie factory aswell,that works up until about 90%,then it fails for sum reason.i have nearly give it up as a bad job!!

 

Have just got up, breakfast first then will send it over to you!
