You will need to be able to ftp your xbox to do this!


First download this file
Now you need to create a new profile in PGR2, once create reboot xbox to dashboard for ftp purposes.
Open the folder E/UDATA/4d53004b/ you will see 1 or more depending on how many profiles you already have in here



Open each folder in turn, 1 should only have 2 files



just to make sure this is the right folder copy the SaveMeta.xbx to desktop and open with notepad it should say Name=what_ever_you_called_yourself, if it does check the other folder in the E/UDATA/4d53004b/ directory and then copy the Profile.Sav file you downloaded from link above into this directory.

You'll ruin the entire single player game though? It would be like opening all your xmas presents on Christmas eve cause you just couldn't be bothered to wait till morning!

i'm gonna try that, i've completed the entire game on silver and a few gold but i cant get platinum, it would take too long and the online guys have the tvr and i dont, thanks, mega useful!

hehe, works a treat, took about 30secs to setup, curiously enough the game isnt 100% platinum like i expected but is 100% steel (or whatever the rubbish one is). The TVR is mighty fine!

Anyone had a play with the car settings ini's yet? I have a 1000hp impreza based on the tvr, has 4wd and does 220mph

@Neanderthal - this is going to be of major use online on live and XLink, in order to get all the cars you need to complete the game all platinum, which is nigh on impossible, so its a bit unfair with all the people who have got tvr's and stuff and you cant have them, the profile works alongside your current profile so you can carry on playing single player unhindered

I totally agree, I have done most of the gold, just a couple of cone things to go, waiting for a patient mood so that I can complete that. I have done some of the plat but I just know that some of them I will just never be able to do, the cones challanges for a start - frigging joke. I have opened up all the tracks, and all but two of the cars. I assume you get the Merc racing car after gold, and finishing plat gets you the cebera. Which I have driven it's pretty mad...

Is there no way to open the game without chipping / modifiying your xbox?

it may be possible to put it on a memory card from an xbox that's had the profile done for you. If you've know anyone with a chipped box could give i a try
