HI SOOB

Just got one of these digital cameras from PC World. It's an AGFA easy pix sx. It came with a disc to load a driver to allow me to get the pics off the camera, but I still cant get the pics.Any ideas. Bearing in mind I'm crap with computers and PC world have been little help so far.

have you got the usb drivers loaded on your pc, cause ive got a digital camera and a digital camcorder and i can see all the stuff they have and ive never had to use an installation cd

How can I check the USB port is loaded?
I have programes on the computer that want to upload the pics but cant find the camera in the system. Only my scanner shows up.

get your mainboard cd out and itll have all the drivers on there reinstall all the usb ones, or go to device manager and have a look at there under universal serial bus controllers

Sometimes you might have to install everything from the CD before you connect the camera to the PC, uninstall and re install, might work

When you connect the camera lead to the PC, you should hear the "connected" sound. The camera may appear in My Computer as a Removable Drive, (with a drive letter).

Look in Device Manager (Windows Key + Pause Key together) for USB Mass Storage Device
