Internet Explorer problem

Hi,
I downloaded some anti-popup software the other day, and now I have a problem! I can only open one Explorer page at a time. If I open another page it just replaces the one I already have open.
I have removed the anti-popup software which I am convinced caused the problem, but it's still not allowing me to open another page.
And now, if I get a popup it replaces the Explorer page I was looking at before. It's very frustrating!
Any suggestions?
