Been playing this for a while now, in standard form all the cars gearshift is much slower than GT3, im assuming you get a quick shift option in the full GT4 when you add tuning bits
Other things, graphically it looks great, the road surface looks fantastic and the car models as you would expect also look superb.
Wait till you drive the tuned NSX, it sounds crackers

I remember driving around an italian village in a little copen on one of the mini tests, not sure if its selectable in arcade mode to be honest.
I have also played the toyota prius demo on a mates (his missus lives in JP) driving the prius is a bit rubbish, but like you say, gives you a taster of the graphics and game engine Don't worry prologue is loads better

been playing this tonight, not to impressed graphics wise - looks worse than gt3 (could be due to Jap NTSC) - after you finnish the first page of the school training it shows some replays and a video. why doesnt it look like those replays ?
will still buy it when it's out, NFS underground kicks it butt completly (on the PC ) graphics wise

Got it on Sat Morning Superb Handling feels strange initially but with some practice (lift-off oversteer city) The AMG cl55 is awesome About 50 cars in total Subarus are 3.0r Legacy saloon and wagon,WRX sti version 6,97 Impreza rallycar,,WRX sti version 8 and Blitzen Legacy New features include new view Collision penalties ( engine power dies for about 10 secs after a big shunt)5 circuits (New York city,Italian village Grand Canyon,Fuji speedway and Tsukuba(Which is the circuit Option magazine use to test the top jap tuning companies))I think you need Gold in all minitests to unlock all game modes ...could somebody confirm this

That's a strange marketing idea. Release a (presumably) unfinished version of the game early and get people to pay £20 for it!
I would expect this to be given away with another game to increase the sales of that game.
